Chapter 3 by DaLoHo DaLoHo

Country-time-period-practice

Spain-modern-Bullfighting

While the Frankish Empire and later French states had their long tradition of pony girl races, in the Iberian Peninsula this morphed into an entirely new practice. The centuries-old tradition of bullfighting was partially adapted to use girls instead of real bulls. In modern times, it has fully displaced the old way of things, and now thousands flock to the arenas throughout the country to watch cowgirls fighting the matadors.

Now, as back then, these cowgirls are selected among the strongest and most beautiful women, and they spend much of their time training their bodies for the physically intense sport. Owing to their common origin with the French pony races, cowgirl fighting was for a long time a noble pastime.

The daughters of noble house side branches often spend their days training for the prestigious sport, while the eldest might be married off as a pet lady. With the fall of the aristocracy, the sport democratized and became more popular among the general public.

The job of a cowgirl for the fights became a lucrative prospect and many took the chance to join teams called stables. Like in modern pony girl racing, girls take a five to ten-year contract, which makes them the stable's property for that period of time.

They live in the stables, spending the time inbetween fights with training. Like pony girls, they spend their time naked and in their cowgirl gear to accustom themselves to their fighting conditions, though unlike pony girls, their bodies aren't permanently bound in bondage.

After their careers, many of the most successful cowgirls marry into so-called matador families, which specialize in raising fighters for the games. Their daughters often become successful cowgirls, while their sons often become matadors.
