Janine’s eyes light up like you just gave her exactly what she wanted for Christmas. “Really!? You wanna challenge me? Finally! That’s ALSO cool!” You cock your head in confusion, so she begins to formally introduce herself. “I’m Janine, the Fuchsia Gym Lea-”

Her confident introduction is interrupted as the door behind her slides open. “Janine, what are you doing? Everything alright in here?”

The open doorway reveals a large break room with a TV set up in front of some couches. There are also several tables and chairs being occupied by men who, considering their dress, are probably ninjas. The Western-style kitchen in the corner kinda ruins the Japanese aesthetic, but at least the room still has tatami mats.

Without turning to face him, Janine replies, “Chill out, Yuuji. This girl challenged me to a pokemon battle! *ahem* Me, Janine! The Gym Leader of Fu-”

“Ahhhhh, really? Good for you, good for you! Finally getting to play the role of Gym Leader, eh? Maybe you’ll actually be good at that.”

“Hey Yuuji, can you grab me a cola from the kitchen?” calls a voice from across the room.

“KOGA!?” Janine cries, spinning on her heels to face the room full of lazy ninjas. “Koga? Have you seen him? Where is he?” The whole room sighs.

Yuuji puts both hands on the alarmed girl’s shoulders. “It’s your turn to chill out, Master Janine. Koga has not returned. Hayato has simply requested that I get him a carbonated beverage of unspecified brand.” He spins her around to face you and gives her ass a loud smack before walking away. Her face red, Janine bows deeply.

“Please forgive my students. I do my best to keep them in line, but the Master-Student relationship is difficult… Still! The more experienced ninjas have been very helpful. I’d have never guessed that the most well-known kunoichi don’t wear pants, or panties, for the sake of mobility.” You hear several snickers from the break room. You’re no expert, but you’re pretty sure she’s being tricked… Seeing the way she gets sexually harassed by her students reminds you of Master Kim from Saffron City. You wonder if she ever got her dojo back…?

“Well Janine, I don’t care how mobile you are with your pants off! When it comes to a pokemon battle, I won’t lose!” you challenge. “I just have one question…” Against every warning flag being raised in your head, you decide to ask. “Who’s Koga?”

Janine’s face contorts in shock. “KOGA!? You don’t know who KOGA is!? Well, he’s a ninja so I guess that makes sense actually. He’s a really talented one, too. Like, the best in the world. Also he’s my dad.” Ohhhhhhhh nooooooo…
