Something else prevents them leaving

Jessicas mum turns her round and opens the gate as if to leave obviously taking some pity on Jessica. Just as they are about to leave however Jessica feels hands grabbing her from behind dragging her back in to the park. Her mum could do nothing as Jessicas hand is wrenched from hers.
