Something comes up

You glance into the dance room and see Vanessa still dancing with Jason. You consider interrupting but decide to get another drink and possibly hunt up Robyn to see if she meets the promise of her sex toys.

You're turning away from the bar, scanning the room when someone drifts up beside you. You look to see Sondra, the blonde girl from the entrance table.

"Hi..um John," she says, blushing slightly. "We met earlier, when you came in..."

"I remember. You're the ill-mannered blonde, as opposed to the ill-mannered brunette." She blushes furiously, and for a moment you're not sure whether she's going to storm off, slap you or cry as a range of emotions cross her face. You start to turn away, but she puts a hand on your arm.

"You're right, I'm sorry. I was rude when you came in. I don't know what got into me," she looks up at you with an uncertain smile, her hand still on your arm. "Please forgive me, John."
