Something Fancy

The dress is form-fitting, but not restricting, showing off your curves without constraining your movement. It's not much longer than the towel had been, and the V-neck is cut rather deep. Wearing a bra underneath is not an option without an undershirt, and an undershirt would look ridiculous.

Panties are tricky with this dress. Most of them show through the tightly-hugging fabric. Searching thoroughly, you can't seem to find any of the pairs that manage to go undetected. You may not have seen anyone on your way in, but you don't want to risk the embarrassment of someone being there to see the lines.

Wearing only the dress, you take a seat at the vanity. If you paused to think about it, you would realize how pointless it is to be putting on make-up just for dinner at a small, road-side inn located in the middle of nowhere which might be a lonely affair, but you simply continue your happy humming, taking care to look your best. You end up putting more care into your look than you would any other day.

In the closet, you find a pair of strappy high heels that you bought and wore only once, maybe twice. You hadn't realized you'd brought them along. With a shrug, you retrieve the footwear, noting that they go perfectly with the dress as you slip them on.

Glancing at a clock, you see that you have just enough time to find the dining hall before the meal begins.

You don't bother bringing along your purse-- why should you have to if you're clearly getting a free meal?

The building echoes back your footsteps again, but it is not nearly as silent as before.
