Someone else

“Wait.” I shout. It takes me a second to realize that I'm lying in my bed. My chest is rising and falling rapidly and my skin is covered in sweat. My eyes are fixed on my ceiling. Definitely my own room.

“Only a dream?” I ask out loud and try to calm myself down. I take a look around and nothing has changed, my room looks exactly the same. In the hallway I can hear footsteps and almost expect the door to open and the little girl from my dream to run in. But they move away from my door and after a while I can make out Danny's voice.

The dream already starts to fade and I try to make sense of it. That woman.........
