Chapter 10

What happens in the morning?
Someone comes to apologise.
Aaron was in a good mood when he woke the next morning. He had succeeded in his conquest of Gillian last night. His initial judgement of her that she would be an easy lay had proved mostly correct. It had taken a little bit of mental gymnastics of her part, and a broken relationship probably, but she had slept with him in the end. What a good little lover she had proved to be too. Gillian pussy tasted sweet and wonderfully tight and wet when Aaron had ploughed himself inside her. Best of all she had left afterwards.
Showering to wash the remains of Gillian’s scent off him, Aaron got dressed for breakfast and made his way downstairs. The wedding not due to start until later that afternoon. He was an early riser out of habit and one of the first at the breakfast buffet. Seated by himself with a half grapefruit, some coffee and a paper, Aaron flicked through the latest news.
He wasn’t the only early riser of the bridal party. The arrival of someone sitting at his table forcing him to lower his newspaper and see who it was. Surprisingly it was Melissa, the last person he had expected it to be after last night. The hard-working lawyer dressed in tight-fitting workout gear having come from the gym already.
“Good morning Melissa,” Aaron started neutrally, unsure if he was about to receive a tongue lashing or not.
“Hey, morning Aaron,” Mel began. Her tone was soft and conciliatory. “I wanted to apologise about last night. I missed judged things horribly. Alexa told me exactly what happened and everything you did for her.”
“She did?” Aaron said. Surely she hadn’t revealed the truth of their affair?
“Yes. About her cold feet and the doubts she was having about the wedding and how you talked her through everything. That was the reason she was in your room.”
“Yes, I didn’t want anything to come between Alexa and Daniel and just did my little part to ensure a long and happy marriage,” Aaron fibbed horrendously.
Melissa reached across the table and squeezed Aaron’s hand in hers, “I genuinely sorry and feel horrible about myself. I hope we can start afresh and really enjoy this wedding, you and I.”
Had Alexa been Aaron’s wingman and just set him up with Melissa?
“I’d like that. I’m looking forward to some fun tonight,” Aaron told her, “did you want to join me for breakfast now?”
“I can’t eat, sorry. I want to look good and fit into my dress later. I’ve been on a juice cleanse and lost seven pounds, can you believe it?”
“Wow! Well, you certainly look remarkable,” he complimented her as his eyes rolled over her taut stomach and sports bra, taking her all in.
Melissa thanked him for the compliment and then told him she had to go. Getting up Aaron made sure he was checking out her seven pounds tighter buns as she walked off.
After breakfast, Aaron was on his way back to his room when he spied Vinny and Bernice walking together. He had only spotted them together for a brief second before they split up and went separate ways. Had they got up to something last night as well perhaps?
To the wedding ceremony.

The Groomsman
One vow broken already
Alexa should be preparing to say, "I do," to her fiancée, instead she's saying, "I'll do anything," with one of his groomsmen.
