Some sort of strange town.

“ The darkness! It consumed the island! Kairi! I can’t see!” With a shock you woke up in a small alley with dimmed light under a bright nightsky. One cheek felt colder than the other as a soft breeze blew past you face. “What the...what is this?” you say as you brushed the back of your hand past your cool cheek. As you did this, a strange creature resembling a dog, albeit a goofy and skinny looking one, sat next to you and wagged his tail. “At least you are in a good mood.” you say. “Where...are we?” you continued, more thinking out loud than actually asking the dog, as you slowly took in your surroundings. Then the dog turned tail and ran away.

As the way the dog ran was the only route out of this alley, you followed him and entered a big square with a bar/restaurant, a few houses, a flight of stairs next to a big...mailbox(?) and a big gate across the square from the stairs. As you looked up to the sky, one star started to burn brightly and suddenly blinked away. “That’s the first time I saw a star die out. Not a good omen, probably. Better find out where I am at the moment.” Just as you turned around to walk up the stairs another bright flash occurs and a wave of destabilisation teared through the town.

A young man with straight brown hair dressed in black and carrying a sword with a revolver handle stood on the top of the stairs as you got slightly out balance by the wave. As you see him looking at you, you ask him “Did you see that?” He looked at you with distrust in his eyes and threw his strange weapon over his shoulder. “See what?” he said with cynicism overflowing in his voice. “The bigger question here is, who are you?” he continued menacingly, which made you feel wary too. As you held your hand out to materialize your weapon, you saw surprise on his face for a moment and you heard him mumble, though you could only hear a few words clear enough: “....no keyblade…?”

Whatever surprised him didn’t let him change his mind, as without warning he jumps at you swinging his gun...blade at you as you tried to block his attack. While you fought, the man kept looking at your weapon with interest, after a while commenting “There is a lot of strange energy emitting from that staff of yours. But will it be enough to counter my magic?” He jumped back, held his palm pointed towards you and summoned fire inside it. Then the fireball shot towards you, surprising you and while you tried to block it with your staff at the last moment, it blew you away against the wall behind you, knocking you out.
