Some snack and a nice chat

The little cafe was surprisingly empty and so Jack sat down on one of the tables. A young woman came over and handed him the small card. "What can I get you, sir?"

Jack quikly picked some stuff and she headed to the back to geht everything for him. When she returned, they stated chatting a bit. he learned her name being Ella and took a better look of her cute face. She told him that she just had started college and that she worked part time here at the cafe. Jack also took the change to get a closer look of her. She had her brown hair partly colored reddish and wore it in a bun, although with plenty of loose strains escaping. A small nose piercing was visible and plenty of freckles.

"Rather empty," he said at some point, looking around and noticing that he was the only guest there.

"Yeah," she said. "The new laboratory seems to have teir own cafeteria, that caused some of our regulars not to come anymore bit to eat there instead.

"A shame," Jack said. "They gonna miss out on a cute andnice young lady."

She blushed. "Thanks, sir," she said. "Can I bring you something else?"

"Just the bill." He made sure to give her a nice tip, then got up and headed for th enext tram stop. He was really curious what was going on back at the device.
