So far, so bad

Upon reaching her campsite, Eve put down her bag to start pitching her tent. However, fate seemed to have other ideas...

"Where the fuck is my tent?!" Eve whined as she searched her bag.

The slim blonde pulled out nearly everything in her bag: keys, wallet, clothes, tools, and food. Yet, no tent. She did remember taking it to the car last night...

"Shit, it's still in the car. It took me half an hour to here, so it'll be another hour or so before I'll be back here with the tent! It would go quicker if I didn't lie this heavy bag around, but I probably shouldn't leave it here where someone can take it. Alright, I'm taking it with me."

Eve stuffed everything back inside, making sure her water bottle was easily accessible. She made the trek back to her car, and saw the tent inside its bag sitting in the trunk, almost mocking her for forgetting it.

"Yeah, yeah. Mom might be right, but still, I've got enough time to get back and pitch it. Then I'll make dinner and go to bed."

Eve began walking to her campsite, but halfway there, it began to rain. It wasn't hard enough to drench her right away, but by the time she got to her campsite, her dress was soaked. She hadn't thought to pack for inclement weather, so she tried to used her bag to shield herself. Now that she was at her campsite, she had to pitch her tent so she wouldn't have to stay out in the rain. Thankfully, her skills worked in her favor, and she had the tent up in minutes. This didn't stop the rain, so as she climbed inside, she noticed she was completely drenched.

"I should probably get out of these soaked clothes and get changed. Don't want to catch a cold." she reasoned.

Stripping off, she threw the wet clothes outside, on top of a picnic table nearby. Naked and wet, Eve looked for her bag to get changed, and realized it was out in the rain. It was water resistant, so nothing inside was wet. OT just meant she had to go out naked in the rain to get it l. She was thankful she brought a towel, so she quickly put on her boots and scampered over to her bag.

She brought it back to the tent, where she brushed off as much water as she could before dumping it inside the tent. She got her towel out and wrapped it around herself before entering. She quickly dried herself off as best she could before closing the entrance, keeping the rain out. She got out her sleeping bag, and rolled it out. She got inside and warmed up as she waited for the rain to subside.

The gentle pitternpatter of rain against her tent made her relax and eventually drift off to sleep. When she awoke, it was night time, and the rain had stopped. Cursing under her breath, she knew that of she had her phone, she would have known about the rain, and would have set an alarm so she wouldn't have slept so long. As it was, she had no clue what time it was. However, her stomach was telling her to eat. She groggily opened her bag and fished out her camp stove and fuel tank. She took out a can of stew and a can opener.

Unzipping the entrance to her tent, she felt a cool breeze, and saw nothing but darkness. She didn't know how dark the world could get, always being in the city where street lights and cars always illuminated the darkness. Here, she could barely see her hand in front of her. She did remember the picnic table nearby, so she cautiously stepped in that direction. He felt it with her leg as she almost bumped into it.

She set down her supplies and turned on the stove. The light from the flame made everything else easier as she opened the can and poured it into a small pot before placing that on the stove. The stove also provided warmth, and Eve felt how good it was, and rubbed her hands over her shoulders. That was when she realized she was still naked! Eve yelped at the realization, but was thankful it was so dark, no one would be able to see her unless they had night vision goggles.

Forgetting about her meal for a moment, Eve decided to head back to her tent to get dressed, but was surprised at what she saw...
