What does Ruby do?

Sneak out a window

Ruby slowly backed away from the door. While she had streaked all the way here, she wasn't quite ready to expose herself to such a large group, yet. As such, she needed to find another way out of the building.

Looking around for a few moments, Ruby saw a window towards the end of one of the hallways. Ruby breathed a sigh of relief and ran over to it, setting the bag and camera down for a moment to try and open it. Curling her fingers beneath the ledge, she heaved as hard as she could, to the point of making her fingers hurt. After a few moments, she relaxed, panting as she began to worry the window might be jammed or something.

Ruby then noticed the latch about halfway up and blushed, grateful no one was around to see that. As stated before, her mind wasn't working a peak efficiency at the moment.

Flipping the latch, Ruby tried the window again and was able to open it rather easily. She then grabbed her items and hopped out of the window, landing in a crouch on the ground below. Ruby didn't bother closing the window, instead sneaking forward until she was at the corner of the building and able to peek out at her surroundings.

Ruby saw that, during her time in there, things had calmed down a bit. While a few students were still walking about, most seemed to have returned to their dorms for the time being. Deciding to take this opportunity, Ruby slung the bag back over her shoulder and walked back out into total exposure, speeding up a bit when someone shouted for her again. This time, Ruby angled the camera in a way that allowed her to use it as a sort of mirror, seeing that the students who were following her were still a good ways away, but were gaining quickly.

As she saw them getting closer, Ruby was very tempted to use her semblance to put some distance between her and them. However, she was somehow able to resist. Doing so would almost certainly leave behind a trail of rose petals, which would be almost as bad as handing out signed pictures to anyone she came across. In addition, she didn't want to be indebted to Coco any longer. Once Ruby returned the bag to her, she would be free to return to her own dorm and begin planning her vengeance.

Approaching the dorms, Ruby realized that she wouldn't be able to use the same method to get in as she did to get out. There was no fire escape or ladder on the side of the building, and there was no way Ruby could get to the third story window without using her semblance, which was still off-limits. And that was assuming Coco wouldn't have closed it by now. Taking a deep breath, Ruby realized she would have to use the front entrance.

Pushing open the front door, Ruby could see there were a few students sitting in the lobby. Not wanting to waste any more time, she made a beeline for the stairwell, knowing the risks of being seen in there, but also not wanting to wait for the elevator. Once in there, and the door was closed behind her, Ruby began bounding up the stairs, taking them two at a time, which was a bit of a struggle given her shorter legs.

Ruby opened the door to the third floor, once again seeing it was empty. Turning to her side, she grabbed the handle to team CFVY's dorm and breathed a sigh of relief when it opened for her. Rushing inside, Ruby slammed the door, leaning back against it and sliding down to the floor, finally taking a chance to breath.

Where's Coco?
