Smooth but embarrassing...

Alice picked up the mop and splashed it down onto the muddy floor, she began cleaning it up with her underwear in full view of anyone who walked by, Alice wanted to get this over with fast but there was so much mud... it was taking forever!

"You missed a spot back here." Ms Thompson called just as Alice thought she was half way...

"Sorry..." Alice responded and retraced her steps back to the start.

over 10 minutes had passed now and Alice was almost done, just a little more left to mop up and then-

"AH!" Alice jumped at the bell went, signalling for the next lesson to start, she almost dropped her mop in shock "C-can I go now?"

"Are you done? it doesn't look like you are... so no" Ms Thompson responded bluntly.

Alice went back to cleaning but even faster now as the hallway began to fill with people... Alice heard a few gasps as the crowd around her grew and grew.

"OK people move along to your next class" Ms Thompson ordered to the people stopping to watch, Alice was thankful of this at least... soon after the hallway was clean and the students had moved on to there next class, Alice put the mop back where they found it and turned to Ms Thompson.

"Can I have my clothes back now?"
