“Let’s play smash.” You decide.

As soon as you make your decision Brandon makes a move to leave. “I’m not really a fan, but y’all have fun.”

This leaves eight of you, so you decide to do a quick single elimination bracket.

After drawing straws for the opening pairings. It comes out to you against Aaron, Corey against Matt, Will against Archie, and Andrew against Connor.

Andrew and Connor are considered the two best players in the dorm, so that is going to be a good game.

Andrew picks Cloud and Connor picks Captain Falcon. Final Destination.

Connor gets a good head start, nearly getting a zero-to-**** against Andrew, but right at the end Andrew manages to make a trade, bringing each of them down to two stocks.

The next stock goes much better for Andrew who manages to knock Connor out while only taking about 50%, but Connor is able to land a lucky Falcon Punch right out of respawn, and ties it up.

At this point the six of you are all glued to the screen, as the two trade small jabs and quick combos, neither gaining a definitive lead.

You hear the door open just as they are each over 100%.

You glance back as Morgan, Macenzie, Shae, and Riley rush into the room, all clearly hammered.

“Do you guys want to dance?” Macenzie asks, blocking the player’s view of the TV.

“Fuck off.” Growls Connor, before Macenzie turns around, bends over, and turns off the switch.
