Shocked, Sarah moved her hand, and the slime fell onto her hand, where Tom saw it absorb into her skin. But his wife was still looking around, as if expecting to find it somewhere else. “Huh, I can’t find it. Must have rolled under a couch...” Whether the liquid had messed her mind, or if she was just trying to act cool about the weird thing that had just happened, Tom didn’t know.
