There’s an email from Daphne waiting for you when you check your inbox. It’s a quick follow-up to an earlier logistics email about your first game tomorrow, answering some questions that came up in the meantime. You quickly go through it, and then put away your electronics, beginning your nightly sleep ritual.

A few minutes later, you’re laying comfortable in bed, eyes shut, ready to sleep. It’ll be, thank God, the weekend tomorrow.
