Skirts torn in the chase
The air pirate darted through the fog-laden streets, his stolen loot clanking with each step. Maggie's eyes narrowed, her skirts fluttering around her as she navigated the cobblestone alleyways with a grace that belied her frustration. Her steam gun, a constant companion at her side, remained inactive for now. She had to be smart, to anticipate his moves before she made her play. The city was a labyrinth of steam vents and shadowy hiding places, and she was determined not to lose him.
The pirate's lead began to shrink. Maggie could feel her breasts bounced with each step, straining against the confines of her modest dress. It was a sight that would have made any of the guild members blush, had they not been too busy gawking at the spectacle of a lady inventor giving chase.
The pirate leapt onto the back of a passing carriage, and without hesitation, Maggie caught the next one she saw. The coachman yelped in surprise as she clung to the side, her eyes never leaving her quarry. The carriage rocked precariously, and for a moment, she feared she'd be unceremoniously dumped into the street, her dignity and her dress in tatters. But she clung on, her determination a **** as unyielding as the steel of her inventions.
The carriage lurched to a halt, and the pirate jumped off, disappearing into a nearby alley. Maggie tumbled after him, her dress tearing as it caught the carriage wheel. She stifled a gasp as the fabric gave way, exposing a flash of creamy skin as her dress tore well above the knee, exposing her long pale legs. She could feel the eyes of the city upon her, but she didn't dare look back.
The alley was a tight squeeze, and her torn dress caught on everything it could. Her flowing gown was now ragged scraps around her waist, her bloomers quite visible. But she had to keep going, had to find the pirate before he could sell her father's work to the highest bidder. The stakes were higher than ever before, and she was playing for keeps.
As the pirate emerged from the alley, Maggie prepared to confront him. But she didn't expect what happened next. A group of burly men stepped out of the shadows, blocking her path. They were the muscle behind the scenes, the ones who had been sent to ensure the air pirates didn't get too greedy. And now they had their sights set on her.
