Skip to your pregnancy: six months in

As the morning sunlight floods the room you share with Robert, you yawn and flutter your eyes, trapped in a state between full awareness and sleep. It's been six months since Robert picked you off of the street to be his 'wife' and you're already round with his children. At the first ultrasound it was reveiled that you were pregnant with triplets, which pleases your lover to no end.

Normally Robert is in bed with you when you wake up, either spooning you or softly speaking to your large belly. It makes you smile to see him on those mornings. He's obviously anxious and excited to meet your children.

You think he also enjoys how immobile you are at times, especially when the triplets are active. And active they are this morning, kicking hard against your swollen belly and your bladder. You whimper, unsure if you could make it to the bathroom and wishing that your lover was with you. You call out for him, hoping that he's nearby to help.
