What's next?
Skip to when Robb's forces join up with Renly's
The next month passes by quickly. Lady Brienne, Lady Catelyn, Queen Margaery, Mira, and Sera all spend a large amount of that time in your company. Even after you recover from your injury, they keep you in diapers. You do not know why, but you have two credible theories. Either they enjoy caring for you like their own child, or they just want to have an excuse to see your private area.
Still, you are hardly in a position to complain. However, the women are very particular about your manner of dress. Whenever you are in your pavilion, they insist that you wear only your nappies or your nappies with a robe over them. You are never permitted anything else.
Whenever you leave your pavilion, however, you are allowed to wear your regular attire, meaning your tunic, breeches, doublet, cloak, and leather armor. Beneath all that, however, you are always thickly and securely padded. The queen and the other ladies seem to have disposed of all your smallclothes somehow.
After the first month, King Robb Stark and his forces arrive in Renly's camp. You are present when King Robb reunites with his mother (not in your tent, thankfully), and you can tell they are both very happy to see one another. You envy the Northern king just a little.
Lady Catelyn then introduces you and Robb to each other. Almost immediately, you and the Young Wolf get along very well.
Robb then surprises everyone (particularly his mother) when he brings forth a young Essosi lady and introduces her as his wife. Her name is Talisa Maegyr, a noblewoman and healer from the Free City Volantis. Apparently, he had met her in the aftermath of the recent Battle of Oxcross, and they had bonded afterwards.
Catelyn Stark is not too pleased with this development. Although she approves of Talisa as both a woman and a daughter-in-law, Robb's sudden marriage to her means that he has broken a contract he had forged with Lord Walder Frey. He was supposed to marry one of the Late Lord Frey's daughters in exchange for passage over the Crossing and the use of House Frey soldiers.
Secretly, you can hardly blame Robb. After all, Talisa is a very beautiful, intelligent, and caring individual. You can tell that much after your very first meeting with her. Furthermore, you are aware that Walder Frey is a notorious swindler, and his female descendants are known to be dimwitted, selfish, and... unpleasing to look at. In your mind, King Robb made the right choice for his own queen.
Renly assures Robb that they will handle the matter of Lord Frey later. For now, the black-haired king claims, they have more important things to worry about. The biggest of which, obviously, is taking King's Landing from the Lannisters.
Robb agrees to acknowledge Renly as the rightful ruler of the Seven Kingdoms and to help him seize King's Landing, as long as Renly lets him be the one to execute King Joffrey. Renly agrees to that term.
So, a few days after the Young Wolf's arrival, the combined might of the North, the Riverlands, the Reach, and the Stormlands marches for King's Landing. You are included in the march, but how do you travel?
