The Final Day of Work

March 14, 1998.

Hannah had just arrived from the portal so that she could meet up with Gertrude. Reaching Lucifer's Library, she found herself greeted by the old woman, almost on the spot.

"Glad you could make it back. As I've mentioned before, there is one last dossier for you to take care of," she told her.

Hannah could only nod before they went into her office. There was a single dossier concerning Judas on Gertrude's desk.

"Remember, if you do not take the Pact of Sin with them, I'm afraid you're on your own dealing with Marukka. But if you do, then that would lead them to betray their mistress." She said, but paused as she briefly cupped her chin in thought before adding, "I believe there's no turning back for you either way."

Taking a deep breath, Hannah approached the desk, her eyes on the sole dossier.
