Chapter 4

How many beers?
Six beers later...
You forgot about the game on tonight, and you got caught up in the action on the big-screen TV at the bar. You soon found yourself cheering along with several other patrons and ordering more libation to go along with the celebration.
You quickly realized you would NOT be making it back to the office. As an act of contrition, you ordered a drink for an old man sitting next to you who had been nursing the same gin and tonic since before you came in to eat. If you weren’t getting work done, at least you could do something to help your karma.
The old man was overly appreciative for his drink, and you soon found yourself having a lively conversation with him. You can’t recall much of the conversation. In fact, you don’t even remember leaving the bar, let alone making in home to your bed.
Looking around you saw your bedroom as it would normally be, in a state of disheveled messiness. You were sitting on your bed. As you rose to get up, a note fell to the floor that you hadn’t noticed had been laying on your lap. You reached down to pick it up, reading the simple message: “REAL IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT”
