Sit with Jenifer

"Hi!" I say as I stand next to the empty seat.

I wait for a moment and after getting no reply I try again.

"Hi!!"

"I heard you the first time" Jenifer replies as she starts looking me up and down.

"Who are you and what do you want?" She says.

"Oh... I'm Danielle, I was considering sitting here" I reply looking at the seat next to her.

"Its taken." Jenifer replies

"But, I see nobody there..." I start saying as she stops me.

"Its Melanie's Seat" She says as she starts to sound pissed.

"And where is her?" I ask.

"She is sick, do I have to explain everything to you?
Why don't you stop bothering me and go somewhere else?"

"Mmm... Sorry, I just didn't want to sit with Tom" I reply a bit embarrassed as I'm about to leave her.

"Tom Carter? Do you know him?" Jenifer asks me like if she suddenly became interested.

"Yes, he is my older brother" I say

"Really?" She says as she extends her arm and grabs mine while pulling me down. "You should have say that before. I didn't knew the school quarterback had a little sister..."

I merely nod.

From that point on Jenifer behaves extremely polite with me, situation that seems weird, even more knowing how she is, but at least I got a good seat.

The rest of the trip goes smoothly, and we arrive school.
