Showing No Interest

In the dark living room Olivia leads me, stopping only long enough to flick the light switch on. The light flares up and i see a modern interior of brown furniture. Everywhere the eye looks it's brown or some shade of brown. Dark brown wood floors,chocolate drapes,sandy brown furniture covering probably over brown fabric furniture.

"A drink Max?"

"A glass of scotch if you have it Olivia!" She walks over to a brown teak bar and pours out a measure of a light brown liquid into a tumbler.

"Ice?"

"2 please!" I hear the telltale of them hitting against the glass. Returning and motioning me to sit down on he couch.Passing me my drink and coaster.

"I usually don't invite men into my home after the first date Max, somehow I fell it just wrong to send the wrong signal to the guy." her head is turned slightly to the door. Her body language revealing that she isn't very comfortable with what happening.

Well let it be said that i can't take a hint.Gulping the last of the scotch and putting the glass back onto the coaster. "Why don't we call it a night Max?" I get up making my way to her door.She follows and I believe she actually breaths a sigh of relief.

At the door "Can i call you again Olivia?"

"I'd like that Max!" We kiss on her doorstep,then she closes the door leaving me to my thoughts.' great time,nice girl,yes Olivia i will be calling again!"
