Not long after JJ brought the shots out the music had started. The part of the room where the games had been played had been cleared chairs and table pushed back against the walls. Some of the girls were dancing now, the only ones I knew dancings were Rosey and Kate.

Jake was chatting to JJ having just returned from taking Kish back to 205, Kish had got in a shot drinking contest with Mike and hadn't won, to say the least. Maybe it wasn't so much Jake fault the other night than Kish's overwhelming desire to be 'one of the guys'. Still Jake seemed like a paradox, one moment he would seem as much of arse as Mike, cold and dismissive towards those who were around him like Laura the other night. On the other hand, he actually had intervened before Kish really got himself in trouble with Mike and took him home. I even began to notice little things he was doing, helping Hayden set up his speakers, cleaning up after himself if he spilt something. My thought process was interrupted as Mike drunkenly bumped into me.

Mike: 'Woah watch it virgin boy or I might have to make you watch me fuck your friend's ass next time'

I hated when Mike called me that, it was fine with Gemma and the others did it. I knew it was in jest or to tease but with Mike, it was more like him asserting dominance.

Me: 'which one, JJ's? didn't know you were into that kind of thing. I suppose you wanted to find out why the girls chose him the other night'

I knew I shouldn't antagonise him but he really was an arrogant prick. Whereas Jake was more complex than the guy he first seemed Mike really wasn't.

Mike: 'Fuck you Virgin, not a single girl in this room would pick a virgin like you over me. So stick to jerking over me and your flatmate where you belong'

Things had gotten heated pretty quick, I guessed it was the **** but I was about to lose my cool with this prick. Luckily Gemma had just returned from a trip to the bathroom and interjected herself between us sensing the tension.

Gemma: 'I hope you boys aren't about to start a fight and ruin the party? I was looking forward to the rest of it'

Mike: 'Don't worry babe, me and Alex here were just talking about the good time WE had the other night'

He made sure he put emphasis on the fact that he meant him and Gemma.

Gemma: 'I suppose it was alright you did make me cum I guess. Although I found a guy who's tongue was like magic, think that may have been better. He didn't even need to stumpy to show a girl a good time'

Clearly miffed by that comment Mike, but knowing better than to start a fight with a girl he walked away and began to head to the girls who were dancing. Gemma: 'that's another one you owe me, this debt getting pretty big'

Gemma: 'depending on how tonight goes I may request your services later then'
