“Let me prove what a good wife I can be for you. Okay?” She coaxed me.

“Okay.” I agreed reluctantly.

What else could I say? If she had gone to so much trouble to arrange our predicament, she clearly wasn’t going to give up just because I felt it was wrong. Eventually I was going to give in whether I wanted to or not so why not just give up.
