"It's not nice to speak to me that way." Your Pet-To-Be had said to you with a glare. She sat in front of you in class, and you'd been whispering to Diane wondering if she'd even washed that ugly shirt of hers before wearing it to class.

"It's not nice of you to subject us all to that hideous outfit, but you did it anyway." You giggled.

Your response had Jane bite her tongue. But, you could see those ginger cheeks of her go as red as her hair, and it made it impossible not to grin. Your phone received a notification. Diane probably laughing about the remark.

With a huff, Jane turned back to face the front.

She had long red hair, and liked to wear shabby clothes to school. Her parents probably couldn't afford better. It was a wonder that she'd managed to keep up the grades to stay in the upper class. She was always raising her hand in class to answer the questions too. Everyone else here was the child of some professional or administrator. Hell, the top of the class, Jessica was in a family that owned eight slaves. You'd heard she was the daughter of a CEO.

It made Jane stand out. It made Jane a target. And you loved targets. What was a day where you didn't have fun bullying your favorite punching bag.

But, lately, you'd been thinking of taking the game a little bit...further.
