She tries to play it cool

Mary had never been this uncomfortable in her life. She thought there is no way she could regain her cool reputation now that she ended up fully naked and surrounded by complete strangers. Especially since Jenny was known to gossip with everyone. She knew her tough persona was finished unless she did something drastic. Suddenly an idea popped in her head, what if she acted like a nudist and as if her outfit was something completely normal to her. This way she would still be cool and no one would know how unbelievably embarrassed she was.

“Thank you so much everyone, I thought I was done for. And sorry for ruining your dinner” Mary said putting on her most confident voice “Oh god honey, you must be so embarrassed, let me at least get you a towel to cover up” said Jenny. Mary wanted that towel so badly but she had to bite the bullet if she wanted to maintain her status “No it’s fine don’t worry about it” Mary was as shocked that she said that as the entire room was from hearing it. “What do you mean? You don’t want to cover up?” Asked Jenny perplexed by the tattooed girl’s words “No, I don’t mind being seen naked” Mary cringed as those words came out of her mouth. “Oh, well in that case, why don’t both of you stay here for dinner” Mary’s heart dropped once again as Jenny’s words felt like daggers “That sounds good!” she answered faking a smile “But Amy and Jeff are still home, they will get worried” Mary said trying to save herself from further embarrassment.
