She takes a taxi

After a few minutes waiting at the curb, she manages to flag down a taxi.

The driver, a young dark haired man asks "Where to ma'am?" as he sees her sweater he flicks his finger at a piece of plastic hanging from his mirror that's in the shape of the flame fropm the National City University logo.

Smiling at him, Kara holds up the printed ad "Um, the eastern docks, a club Lango, I got the address here if you need?"

"Ah, ok, and no worries ma'am, I know where that is I've driven a few girls there before, you a guest or an employee?"

"Neither... but by the end of the night I'm hoping to work there."

While waiting at a red light, he looks at her through the mirror "Do you know what sort of place it is? I can wait by the entrance if you want, in case it's not for you?"

Thinking that's both sweet and a bit patronizing, Kara shakes her head "No, that won't be necessary, I know exactly what I'm going to"

The driver just nods and hums and drives on in silence until they arrive at the club some 20 minutes later "Good luck with the job, I hope you get what you're after."

Rooting in her pocket, Kara looks through the money she brought 'Shoot, I thought these were 20s but I only brought three 5s'
"Thanks, uh... is this enough?"

"Is this a joke? 15 $ for an evening drive across town?" the car starts rolling forward again "I don't like scammers, I'm going to find a cop and hand you over to them" the driver doesn't quite shout, but he's clearly upset.

'Rao, why didn't I just bring everything, what if they see through the Linda Id, didn't I read about someone being convicted for felony possession of a fake ID the other day... fudge'
In an increasingly frantic voice Kara exclaims "No, please you can't do that! Can't you just take the money and and... wait... what's this?"
After rolling forward a little bit, the taxi has just turned down the alley behind the club.

Staring Kara in the eyes through the mirror, the driver answers "Well, as I said, I've driven other girls here before, and they didn't always want to pay... in cash, maybe you could do like them? Pay me in services?"

Unsure what he means, Kara asks "Um what do you.... oh" as his hand demonstratively moves to his crotch and gives it a squeeze, his intent becomes clear.
