She stays, behind cover

“O-okay, I’ll stay…” Melody squeaked. It was extremely tempting to sprint away from the humiliating situation immediately, but there was something about the man’s voice that convinced her to stay still…it was so much deeper than her own. “But I’m not moving from here!”

Dean rubbed the back of his head awkwardly. “Ah, well I can’t say I blame you. I’m Dean.”

A few seconds of silence passed before Dean got a response. “…Melody…”

“Nice to meet you, Melody.”

The interaction was about as awkward as one would expect between a camper and a completely naked woman out in the woods. Especially considering how Melody’s mind continued to go back to how much of her pale skin she had exposed to a stranger, especially a human male…oh how she hoped he didn’t see too much!

“So how did you end up like this anyways?” Dean suddenly brought up, the nymph squirming around nervously against the leaves beneath her at the sound of his strange voice again.

How did she end up naked like this? She had to think of something believable! “A bear attacked me…and stole my, um…clothing…”

A few awkward moment of silence passed that only made the wood nymph’s heart beat harder in anticipation. Her hands were firmly pressed against her naked chest and between her legs, even though Dean wasn’t able to see more than her face from this angle.

“A bear took your-?”

Dean was unable to convey his disbelief, because the two way conversation was interrupted by the sound of more crunching leaves and multiple voices laughing and joking with one another. That must be the man’s friends!

Panic began to spread through Melody; not more humans! Being nude in front of one was humiliating enough, but part of the girl has already begun to trust Dean because of his genuine personality. But all humans weren’t like that, were they? She blushed at the idea of being the only one naked in front of so many other people, why today of all days?!

“Um…”
