She makes it over the fence, but encounters a problem or two.

Wonder Woman aims at a point above the fence, squats down, then propels herself upward in one of her famous power jumps! She's done this a million times before. She clears the dangerous razor wire, then tenses her stomach muscles as she approaches the ground on the other side.

The Amazon lands rather heavily. She emits a loud "Oooff!," and her power belt pops off and springs away! "Uuhhhnn," she groans as she straightens her legs and gains her footing. She puts her hands on her ungirdled waist. "What the...?" She looks around and sees her power belt on the ground several feet away.

"Well now that's never happened before," she muses as she quickly trots over and picks up the golden girdle of power. She shakes her head as she quickly inspects the belt, then swings it around behind her and brings it around her waist. She tugs the ends together, but it's not an easy fit. She can't buckle it at first, so she stops and takes a breath. "Oh Hera," she says to herself, "I'd be the laughing stock among my Amazon sisters." She takes another deep breath, then sucks her tummy in hard, and, grimacing, manages to buckle the belt.

"Oohhh," she groans as she exhales and holds her tummy. "Okay, I'll work on that tomorrow. For now, let's check out this abandoned theater."

Meanwhile...

... on the west side of the block, Candace watches through her spyglass as the famous Wonder Woman jumps the fence and lands inside the property. The intern watches with curiosity as the heroine hesitates and looks around, then goes to pick up something.

Just then the observant intern notices some other movement out of the corner of her eye. She looks toward the far end of the building, and a car is entering the property! "That's the sliding gate we saw earlier," Candace thinks to herself. The car drives up to the building on the opposite side from where Wonder Woman is, and two men in dark suits get out, one big, the other maybe average size. Candace trains her telescope on them and sees inside the smaller man's open coat that they're apparently armed.

"Uh-oh..." Candace whispers to herself. Then she looks back toward Wonder Woman, who's still near the other end of the building. The intern is momentarily amused as she sees that the famous Amazon is trying to put her belt back on... and is having a little trouble! The intern's smile quickly gives way to a bite on the lower lip, however, when it strikes her that this is not a good situation. "I know she's Wonder Woman and all," Candace thinks to herself, "but she doesn't know those guys are there. She'll be caught unawares!"

The intern sticks her little telescope into her cleavage, and reaches for her cell phone on her belt. Scrolling to Steve Trevor's cell phone number, she calls him immediately.

"What is it?"

"Steve, there might be a problem. Wonder Woman showed up..."

"What? Who the hell... well anyway so what's going on?"

"Wonder Woman is inside the fence, but a couple of goons just drove up on the other side of the building. They're armed, and Wonder Woman can't see them from her side of the building. I'm afraid both parties will enter the building at the same time and..."

"Gotcha. Stay put. I'll make a couple calls and then make my way over there. Are you safe?"

"I'm up a tree."

"What do you mean? What's wrong?"

"No, I mean literally, I climbed a tree to get a better view."

Steve shakes his head, thinking of how unlikely it would have been for Diana Prince to do something so physical and energetic. "Okay, I'll be there soon."

"Okay."

"Now Candace, you stay where you are.... Candace?"

She has already stowed her phone back on her belt, and pulls the little telescope out of her cleavage. She spots Wonder Woman just before she disappears behind her end of the building. Candace looks toward the other end, and the two dangerous-looking guys are nowhere to be seen. "They must have already gone in through that new door, damn it," Candace thinks to herself.

Meanwhile...

... Vinnie and Nunzio are laughing as they let themselves in. The old theater turned warehouse turned workshop is musty and messy, but these guys know their way around and start navigating through the boxes and partitions in the former lobby. Just before they enter the main part of the theater, they hear a loud crashing noise, like metal snapping and then glass breaking. They stop in their tracks. Unbeknownst to them, it's Wonder Woman breaking into the rear of the building.

Vinnie motions silently to Nunzio, the big lug, telling him to hang back. These guys are smart; they know it's better to separate and one guy act as backup. Big Nunzio's okay with that; the boss took his gun away 'cause he's so reckless, so Vinnie's the only one packin' heat.

Wonder Woman has smashed her way through a door in the rear of the building. She's not worried about the noise; there weren't any vehicles outside. Maybe someone will show up later, and it will be their misfortune to have to deal with Wonder Woman!

The Amazon pokes around the rear room of the building for a minute. There's a large Diesel generator there, and it looks fairly new, with new electrical wiring coming out from it and leading toward the front of the building.

"Hmm...," Wonder Woman thinks to herself, curiously. "Well, let's see what's playing in the theater...."

With that, the confident heroine uses both hands to brazenly push her way through a pair of double doors, Wild West saloon style... and with no hesitation Vinnie fires his gun at her!
