Belle blushed red as she made her way through town, trying to cover herself as she approached the door of the person she despised the most. She took a deep breath and knocked on the door.
For a moment she thought that Gaston just wasn’t there and turned to leave, but as she did, she heard a voice say. “Well, hello, Belle. You look very nice today. Did you do that for me?”
She rolled her eyes as she turned back around to see the man in his red outfit. “Gaston, please. I...I need your help. I need you to explain to everyone that I used to have boobs, and that there’s been a misunderstanding,” she said.
Gaston looked Belle up and down and smiled. “I...might be able to be of services if...”
“If what?” She asked, dreading the answer.
“If you marry me,” he said. “You agree to marry me, and don’t back out, and I will tell everyone in town that you used to be well blessed before your loony old father took them away. If not, I won’t help you.”
Belle frowned, in order to gain part of her dignity back she would have to lose another part of it, the part where she swore she would never accept. But was it worth it?
