She lost to Kuvira

Korra was sent rolling to the ground as another rock hit her in the face. The avatar tried to stand back up to keep fighting but she was beaten, battered, and bruised. Her outfit was in theaters like her will. Korra had access to all the elements yet she couldn't even land a single hit on Kuvira.

While the avatar wallowed in self pity, Kuvira struck. Korra was bound from neck to toe in a shell of earth, not giving the avatar an inch to move.

The avatar thrashed but she just wasn't strong enough. She wasn't good enough.

"This is the might of the Earth Empire!" Kuvira proudly declared "A **** more powerful than even the avatar!"

Kuvira's troops cheered as their leader approached the avatar.

"It's time to sleep" Kuvira told Korra before kicking the avatar in the face, rendering her ****

Korra would become the mightiest weapon of the Earth Empire, willingly or not.
