She likes the idea. So does Gary.

Bernie hugged her boyfriend tight. "It would be so good to have you there watching mom and me," she said.

Gary hugged her back. "So if your mom wanted to watch you and me together, what would you think?"

Bernie looked Gary straight in the eyes. "Do you think she wants that?"

"I'm pretty sure. How would you feel, well..." Gary took a breath. "Having your mom watch us fuck?"

Bernie took a deep breath and looked to either side. The corridor of the movie multiplex was still empty. "I-I'd like that," Bernie said.

Gary nodded.

"With Mom, you know, I've taken my girlfriends to Mom's Pleasure Circles. Ones where we touched each other. I can't take you there, so it would have to be just us." She nodded. "Yes. How about you?"

They looked in each other's eyes for a long minute. Gary got a little crinkle in the corner of his mouth which bent into a smile. Bernie grinned. She pulled Gary's head down and kissed him.

"Yes," Gary whispered to Bernie.

"Yes," she whispered back to him. "Sex. You watching me and Mom. Mom watching me and you."

"Yes," Gary repeated.

"Me watching you and Peter. You and your doctor's wife Sonia."

"Yeah," said Gary. "Together."

They hugged each other in the corridor by the bathrooms.

"Let's get back to Lil," Bernie said. "This is her trip."

"Yeah," Gary said. "And we've got dinner at your place." His mind flashed back to the ice cream parlor. Had his sister Lil been flirting with Bernie? That would be kind of weird. But Bernie had blushed when Lil fed her the cherry. He paused a moment to form a question, then asked Bernie about Lil.
