Soon ...
She leaves Ron
Ron throw one last flirty look at her before he catch the snitch again. "Alright, let's call it a night. You're pretty good, but you're gonna need some serious strategy if you want to beat Gryffindor," he said with a wink. "We aren't just going to roll over for a pretty face."
They touched down on the pitch and Rose felt a sense of accomplishment. She had faced a part of her past she had long ago buried and come out stronger. "Thanks for the training, Ron," she said, her voice sincere. "I can't wait to beat you."
Ron smile watching Rose walk toward the castle as Hermione joins Ron. "I don't like her."
Ron said. "Why? She's not so bad. Is it because she bested you in potions?"
"No," Hermione said quickly, though the sting of her earlier defeat was still fresh. "It's just... something feels off about her. Like she's hiding something."
...
Rose sit next to Pansy in the great hall. The tension was palpable. Draco sneers at her from across the table. She can feel his eyes boring into her as he whispers something to his snaky friends. They all laugh. But she doesn't let it get to her. She's used to it. She's more focused on the mission ahead.
Pansy ask. "Where was you today punching bag? Did you finally find a place to cry about your sad little life?" She laugh with her friends.
