She is angry

„Bloody hell,“ Nikky curses and turns around angry, „what the hell is wrong with you? Why have you done this?“

„Nikky, listen …“ you try to calm her down but she doesn’t let you talk.

„No, shut up!“ Nikky says angry, „I don‘t want to know. If it’s some kind of hobby for you to lie to people around you, then do this without me.“

„I didn’t wanted to hurt you,“ you say sad.

„Oh, good job,“ Nikky comments sarcastic, „worked wonderful.“

„I … I just don’t wanted you to be alone,“ you say to defend yourself, „is this worse then letting you wait the whole night alone for a girl who has not enough interest in you to show up on a date she originally agreed to?“

„Maybe,“ Nikky answers a little calmer, „in this case only one girl would have lied to me. But I see your point. I’m still angry at you, but I assume you really hadn‘t any bad thoughts. And at least you decided to tell me after all. Even if it was a little late.“

„So you are not mad?“ you ask hopefully, „you would have all right to be.“

„I’m not mad at you,“ Nikky answers and hands you a piece of paper, „but I’m not happy with you either. If you ever want to see me again, you can write your number down on the paper. I will call you.“

You write down your number and say goodbye to Nikky. She is right. You should have told her the truth. At least Nikky gives you a last hug before she leaves. You decide to head home too. The evening was not bad at all, but maybe tomorrow will less troublesome.
