Does she obey?
She hesitates
"I am afraid of you" Ariadna said.
"You should be. I can hurt you. I am smarter than any man. And stronger than any beast." He said.
"Do you wish to harm me, Apollo?" she asked. And she began to cry. This is not what she had expected her first encounter with a god to be like.
"This is my forest, along with several others. I don't visit it often, but when I do, I like to let it be known that I'm in charge. In fact, because you live here, you belong to me too. And I have no reason to destroy my property."
"You are very kind sir. I feel fortunate to finally meet the master of the forest." And she knelt before him, and bowed, but couldn't stop crying.
"You may rise, my child. Use this for your tears." Apollo said, handing her a red scarf from his neck.
She stood and buried her face in the scarf, to wipe away her tears. She stopped crying and smiled at Apollo. And he returned the smile.
Does he let her have his red scarf?
