She heard some commotion

As Ruby pondered on what to do today, she heard a shattered glass not far off.

*Crash*

Alert, she turned to wher the sound came from.

There, an empty street was a normal Dust shop that was usual in a lot of streets.

What was unusual was the broken window in front of the store and a furniture that had flung through said window.

"A robbery!" Ruby thought, hiding behind an alleyway as she took a peek.

A figure wearing a white suit emerged from the store with a bunch of goons following him. Ruby recognized the crook.

"Torchwick!" Thought the young aspired Huntress. He was stealing yet another Dust shop. Her sense of justice compeled her to enact this evildoer.

"But first, gonna need my Crescent Rose," Ruby thought. Realizing that she was unarmed and mostly helpless without her trusty weapon. But if she called the locker her, it might alert Torchwick.

So Ruby regretfully observed Roman breaking the window glass and stealing the Dust without a care in the world. Waiting for an oppurtunity

"Well, it seems he is still looting and a bit busy. Maybe I could retreat for a bit." She thought, reluctantly distanced herself from the crime scene.

"Let see, 1 2 4 6-"

After dialling her weapon's locker, Ruby tapped on the emergency button to informed her team.

"They won't make it." Ruby realized as she saw where her team was from the map. Yang and the others were too far away. Torchwick would most likely be gone by then if she just waited for her teammates.

In less than a minute, her weapon's locker dropped from the sky, revealing Cresent Rose.

Armed with the knowledge that she was alone, Ruby knew what she had to do.

"Well, I guess its just me for now, what's the worst it could happen?" Ruby simply thought as she armed herself.

She would latter regret saying this.
