Jessie decided to go back into her new home. Mr. Goodman was still upstairs, and she wondered if maybe she should go and apologize to him. She had cooled off, and was in a much better mood after going outside. Maybe they'd end up having sex in the end anyway. She realized that was the real reason she wanted to make up with him.
