She goes back to work – with a smile on her face.

Michelle jumps off the bed and starts getting dressed rapidly, muttering under her breath about her boss. Katie chuckles at the frenzied young brunette as she followed her downstairs and told her the shortcut back to the mall. Michelle thanked her and just before she departed Katie asked, “Can I see you again? Maybe sometime soon?”

Michelle stops dead and thinks for a minute but her brain is too preoccupied with getting to work on time. She gives the standard answer, “Uh, sure. See me at the mall and we can see what we want to do.”
Katie smiles at Michelle and kisses her, and then saying, “I know what I’d like to do.”

Michelle dashes off and gets back to work in the nick of time, and after a while in the afternoon she has a short coffee break. She decides to find her friend from the broken lunch meet and find out what happened. As Michelle goes to her friend’s store she thinks back to her lunch of sex and eating out. She found herself actually looking forward to meeting Katie again.
