She fails horribly

Despite her best efforts to regain her balance or catch herself, it all ends up being for naught. Makoto hears a loud splash and feels the putrid water soaking her clothes, absolutely coating her bottoms and lower back. She resists the urge to puke, knowing it won’t help anything, and tries her hardest to pretend that it is just nice, not-filthy, not-smelly water she just fell into.

Makoto sits there in the toilet bowl awkwardly, her thighs pressing against her chest, for a moment, regathering her bearings. Thankfully, it does not feel like she injured herself in the fall, at least that was one thing going for her.
