She drives to the accident scene

As it turns out, Ellen's sense of duty gets the better of her drunkenness, and she decides to respond to the emergency call. Turning on her siren and lights, the intoxicated cop weaves along the road in the direction of the Paradise night club.

By now, Ellen is so drunk that she is constantly hiccupping, and her double vision isn't making things any easier, so it takes quite a time until she reaches her destination. When her patrol crusier finally careens into the night club's driveway, she notices too late that two wrecked cars are already standing straight in her way. Ellen can't do anything to avoid a crash. Stomping on the brake with all her weight, she only manages to slow her car down enough to soften the impact. "Aaaiiieee!" the drunken cop screams as the vehicles finally collide.

Amazingly, Ellen survives the accident without any major injuries. Although she is bleeding from a gash on her forehead where she hit the steering wheel, and she also has numerous cuts and bruises, she is not seriously hurt. Much worse than the pain is the humiliation she feels when she is breathalyzed and handcuffed by her colleagues, all in the presence of whirring TV cameras and for all the world to see.

The coming of dawn sees Ellen in the drunk tank, her career in shambles and her drinking problem apparent to everyone. The only consolation the busty cop has is the fact that she has hit rock bottom now, and things can only go upwards from here.
