She does nothing

Cynder did nothing. She ducked her head, hiding behind the jewelry cases as much as she dared without trying to look like she was hiding. She almost needn't have bothered though. Spryo was almost surrounded on all sides by adoring individuals, dragons and other species who recognized the legendary purple dragon hero and wanted to praise him. Some even offered him gifts in thanks. A few bobbles, a gem or two, but most common was simply a treat in the form of a fresh baked muffin, cookie, or kebab from one of the food stalls.

Spyro did his best to accept such things politely even if he wasn't certain he could handle it all.

"Cynder?''

The black dragoness jumped when she heard an ice behind her, but relaxed when she saw it was Ember, who was looking at her with worry.

"Are you alright?" She continued, her eyes spotting Spyro in the crowd.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Cynder said, her voice firm with a hint of anger and bitterness in it as she watched a few dragonesses flirt at Spyro, and the purple dragon returning the advances a little as well.

Something had cracked inside of her then, something that drained away her affection for Spyro.

While glaring at him, she said to Ember, "I think I'll take those gold bracelets."

"Are you sure?" Ember asked, "They seem a little bit big for you."

"I'm sure," said Cynder, "Plus, let's go hit the nearest restaurant. I'm feeling a little peckish."

A while later, Ember and Cynder were sitting at the nearest dinner. The black dragoness wore her jewelry, which was threatening to slip off. Ember hardly touched her food, her eyes wide, not believing how much Cynder was eating.
