She does... with a little help

"What am I missing?" Valerie demanded once again.

With a groan of frustration, she rested her head against the pillow and closed her eyes. Immediately she knew something was wrong. She'd tried to raise her hands to press them against her temple, but they wouldn't move. She tried to open her eyes to see what was holding them down, but she couldn't open them. She felt a sudden surge of panic as she realised she was totally and completely paralysed!

Slowly the darkness behind her eyes began to soften. She began to see some sort of warm, comforting mist slowly begin to come into existence in the air around her even though her eyes were still closed. Something about it seemed oddly familiar...

"Human female known as Valerie Waters," a voice spoke, deep and coming from everywhere. "Greetings."

"I know you!" Valerie said, suddenly remembering. "You were in my dream last night!"

"Verily I was. I sense great discomfort from you. Do you not find my gift pleasing?"

"Gift? Do you mean you're responsible for this?"

"I am." the voice boomed. "The circumstances I have placed you in were, judging by your subconscious, appealing to you in some way. Is this not so?"

"Of course it isn't!" she retorted. "I've been parading myself around naked in front of my parents and my neighbour!"

"And how did this make you feel?"

"It felt humiliating!"

"And is that all?"

Valerie should have shouted 'What do you mean is that all?!', but she found herself hesitating. She had been deeply embarrassed by the situations she had found herself in, that was true, but somehow, deep underneath the burning shame, she felt... excitement? Having the eyes of people she knew - live and in person - watching her nude form had given her a faint echo of the same thrill she felt when she uploaded that video to YouTube. She'd been so pre-occupied with herself that she hadn't even considered how thrilling it might be.

"I am here to experiment," the voice boomed "But I will not do so with unwilling subjects. I have erred. Tell me, would you like me to make further changes to your reality?"
