She can... for now.

After a moment of internal struggle, logic won out, and Rose kept her hands from exploring her inner thighs. That activity would have to wait. She needed to focus on getting back into her backyard. But how would she get past her neighbors?

With the driving rain not letting up, it was difficult to hear her neighbors continue their discussion about driers. It still didn’t seem to make much progress, with one believing they could fix it, while the other was tired of waiting.

‘Come on, it’s raining hard. Just go back inside!’ Rose thought, crossing her legs and hugging her chest. As soon as they were gone, she would climb that fence and get back onto her property.

“I know for a fact that I can fix it! Let me have one more try at that thing!”

“Will you finally give up and buy a new one once you find out it’s more than you can fix?”

“I promise, you’ll have a working drier this week,” came a confident reply. “I just gotta grab my toolbox out of the shed.”

At first Rose thought nothing of that information. Her neighbor was simply getting a toolbox, and then they’d be out of her hair. A quick trip to the shed, a short walk back, and Rose would be free to move.

There was just one problem that she soon realized when she turned her head. The tool shed was right there next to her. The tree she chose to hide behind, was between the house and the tool shed!

“Oh no…” Rose said under her breath. Her neighbor was coming, so Rose pressed herself against the tree as much as she could, and slowly took a few steps around it, so the view of the backdoor and the tool shed would be partially covering the naked girl.

A few squishy footsteps in the wet grasscould be heard from her neighbor walking into the backyard. Rose peeked around, and saw him pull open the door to the tool shed and go inside. Then Rose looked to other side. Nobody was waiting by the door.

Rose wasn’t sure where her other neighbor went. Just that they weren’t there. With one neighbor missing, and the other distracted, Rose thought about what she should do with this brief moment of seclusion.
