You look at your wife thoughtfully, Stacey was always too smart for her own good – she has managed to use you, cheat on you and lie to you quite successfully over the years. You had long suspected something was amiss, but you rarely won an argument with her and she could always browbeat you into submission so you had never confronted her about it.

Even now you could see her desperately trying to think of a way to squirm her way free of your new hold on her. ‘So long as she remains the way she is,’ you think to yourself, ‘I won’t feel easy letting her out of my sight’. Something had to be done to rein this clever bitch in…

“I can almost see the wheels in your head turning Stacey” You say to her quietly “You have been a terrible wife over the last few years, but I can’t say you’ve been a terrible mother…”

You see a sparkle of hope appear in her eyes and know that she is probably trying to think of some way to use this to her advantage.

“However,” You continue “How am I ever going to be able to trust you again? I don’t think I could just let things continue as they are now… something has to change – YOU have to change…”

She nods eagerly, still unable to speak but trying to act convincing. You smile reassuringly at her.

“I’m going to make you into the ideal wife Stacey, I’ve given you everything I could since I married you and now you’re going to return the favor” The look in her eyes changes to alarm as she listens to you.

“You’re too smart for you own good and I can’t be here to watch you all the time, so firstly we’re going to have to stop you from thinking too much. You’re not too bright anymore are you Stacey?” you tell her carefully.

You watch astonished as she goes from looking alarmed to looking vacant. You can see that her brain is no longer searching for an idea to escape your powerful hold over her, instead it doesn’t seem to be thinking much at all.

“You can talk now Stacey” you command her. She looks confused for a moment then speaks.

“What do you think I should say?” She asks you, then giggles “that’s silly John!”

You smile at your accomplishment; you just turned you wife from a bitch to an airhead.
