Chapter 87 by Indirect

What can Sandra remember?

She's got a pretty good memory

Sandra taps her foot impatiently, something you only see her doing when she's trying to puzzle out something tricky. "Hmmmm. What was the earliest one? It's a bit hard for me because it doesn't seem to have only happened when I used an exact phrase. It seems like 'Wouldn't it be great if' and 'I wish' did almost the same thing."

"That would be when the high inquisitor was leaving."

"Right. Right. That makes sense. I was just getting used to having the extra weight on my head." She pauses and scratches her head. "It still feels weird, I know you didn't give it to me, but when I think back to that time I still think of that as the day you handed it to me... Gah!" Sandra scratches at her head, then smooths her hair down again. "Okay, so with Melona I think my wish was more or less that I hoped some catgirls would end up going up to that monastery or fortress or whatever alongside the inquisitors."

"Which didn't happen," you reply. "So maybe that means you weren't properly connected to it yet, or it means that the fact Melona noticed the effect blocked it?"

"Must be the first thing. If noticing the effect cancelled the wish you would have blocked more of my wishes."

"True, unless I somehow don't count. Or perhaps mages can't block the effect but inquisitors can? Too little to go on."

"Yeah..." Sandra stays silent for a few seconds before her ears perk up and she says, "Ah! I know what the second time must have been. I was a little unhappy so few girls were getting taken in by knights and soldiers..."

"So few?" you interrupt her with a laugh. "I thought it was a rather nice turnout."

"Well, I was aiming high. Anyway I think I was hanging out downstairs and I thought about how it would be quite funny if lady Emira found someone useful among the inquisition, someone who could help her take back her home and would also love our cute catgirls. I think I felt a little faint after that little bit of brainstorming and daydreaming."

"Certainly sounds like that one struck home."

"Mmmm. Now I'm getting the hang of it - let's see, after that... I guess convincing her to take more catgirls with her. Funny, you mentioned that one, but I don't really remember concentrating on the idea or feeling faint or anything. It just happened."

"So adding a pair of extra kittens to Nyerra was next?"

"Yes, I think so," says Sandra. She thinks about it, then nods to herself. "Yeah. But hey, our first natural born Foxfall catgirl needs to carry bigger litters. We can't have that lovely coat going extinct, can we?"

You just give her ears a few rubs and ask her to stay focused.

Sandra smiles and thinks. "I think Tanya's extra babies would be next, then... yes, I think I used that power to convince you to 'improve' lovely Alura for me."

"I don't remember that, myself. But it does fit the pattern."

"I think it's pretty much a sure thing I made Sendrey fall for Patrick, I think I probably also convinced Harmony to work with us, that we had taken good care of her 'sister'."

"Yes, again. Makes sense."

"That must have been an easy one, though. Because we really have taken good care of Helena."

You chuckle and ask if there are any other incidents.

"I'm not too sure. I think a lot of these have been little things that might have happened anyway, things I encouraged that were already happening. Renee and Alice seem to be discovering a little lactation fetish, but was that me? I think they were already getting into it before I got the statuette, but I might have boosted it a little. Oh, and of course I'm always wishing that all of us - you and all of your wives and lovers - will always get along, that we'll always love each other. No jealousy, no envy, always helping each other out."

You pull Sandra in and squeeze her against your body, which draws a very contented purr. "There are definitely worse things you could have wished for. I want to keep that statuette away from you for a bit. I don't want you using it by accident until I'm sure it doesn't drain your life **** or have limited charges or something like that."

"Mmmmm, yeah, okay," she says, snuggling against you, her tail wrapped around your bum. "Oh... I don't know, but maybe with the way I was thinking about things, maybe I'm the one who made so many of our wives eager to have each other's babies."

You give her some firm ear scratches until her eyes roll back in her head, then you kiss her. "Maybe it worked on me too. Because I don't see any problems with breeding all my lovely wives together, as long as everyone continues to want more and more babies."

Sandra mumbles, "Oh, that would make sense. Maybe there's one other thing..."

"You made all our wives interested in having lots more babies?" She gives you the big, sheepish kitten eyes and you kiss her again. "We might have to drop a few of these wishes, just to keep things from getting crazy. But I know your heart is in the right place, you lovely baby-obsessed sex kitten."

Sandra purrs with gusto and mumbles, "No need to get rid of that one right away. After all, the statue might be dangerous... and it wouldn't hurt for our wives to be happy carrying more babes for at least a few years, would it?"

Is it time for Patrick's next journey to begin?
