Sharing Interests

"U-Uhh..." Kasper stumbles out, "N-No, I didn't." he gives a friendly smile at the girl in front of him.

"Thanks for helping with the dishes." her left hand goes out and gets placed on the boy's shoulder, "Appreciate it!" her blonde locks fall to the side as she keeps her head tilted ever so slightly.

"No problem." he responds. "Sooo.... whatcha listening to?" he gives a smile.

Valerie steps forward, bringing herself closer to the normally shy boy and as she does, her right hand with the earbud goes out and towards his own ear. The soft touch of her fingers work around his ear until the piece gets lodged inside and the sudden soothing sounds of a piano course through his eardrums. The two stand there for a few moments, only a handful of inches apart as they both listen to the beautiful melody of the song, "Frédéric Chopin is good for sure, very relaxing to listen to but nobody and I mean nobody will ever top, Dmitri Shostakovich!" Kasper's eyes shimmy back and forth against Valerie's. "The Second Waltz, the whole orchestra, I could listen to it on loop over and over and over again!"

She cocks her head farther and gives the boy an even friendlier grin, "You... You... You..." it is now Valerie's time to be the one who is seemingly dumbfounded, "Really?" she almost seems somewhat flabbergasted at Kasper admitting that.

"It's easy to listen to while I work." Kasper shrugs casually, "I see you prefer just the piano, which is very relaxing but something about the all the instruments working together in harmony, brilliant!"

"That... I... I didn't know that." she now squints her hazel eyes at the boy almost as if she's trying to figure him out, "How did I not know this beforehand?"

"What?" Kasper replies back immediately as the glorious melody of Chopin continues to echo in his ear, "Is there a problem?"

"Nooo...." a grin forms on the girls face, "Just thinking! Shostakovich eh? The whole orchestra?" she nods her head up and down a few times, "Don't worry Kasper, I'll show you what you've been missing!" she reaches up and pulls the earbud out of his ear before quickly taking the one out of her own as well. "Come on!" after she throws the two pieces around her neck her left hand reaches down and grips the boys slightly warm and sweaty palm.

"V-V-Valerie???" Kasper shrieks out as the petite blonde somehow summons so much strength to pull the boy behind her, leading them out of the kitchen and towards the living area.
