Share With Charmaine

Charmaine looks a little nervous as you approach her, the cool academic facade breaking down as her mouth forms into a little ‘o.’ However, when you get close, she does move a bit over to the side, giving you just enough space to seat yourself on the edge. The professor gives you a curious look, and you see that Lucille is shooting you daggers out of the corner of her eye. Fair enough, she probably did say that with the intention of having you sit next to her, but the chance to possibly further your relationship with Charmaine a little more… it was too good to pass up on.

“So we’ve all talked about our thoughts a bit, while you were off pigging away at lunch,” Lisa says. “But we haven’t heard from you yet, Alex.”

“What I said in class was more of a first reaction, than anything else,” you say. You shift a little as you speak, and feel the crush of Charmaine’s side-boob against your chest. On the whole, it’s a pretty pleasant sensation, and you hear a small gasp from her. Is she that sensitive? “Uh… you alright, Charmaine?”

“Yeah, yeah,” she breathes, looking away from you, her face looking a little flushed. You find her nervousness endearing, and are about to tease her a little more, when she speaks up again. “I… I suppose I did have a question about the Kristeva,” she says, ducking down and rummaging in her bag for her copy.

As she speaks, you take the chance to spread your arms out around the chair, so that when she returns to her original position, you’ve got an arm wrapped around her shoulder. Her posture straightens for a second in surprise, and then she leans back into your arm. The professor gives the two of you a look, and then he laughs.

“The Kristeva’s a tricky one, so I don’t know if I’ll be able to answer your question. But you do have to ask me for us to find out.”

Charmaine flushes again. “Well… well basically, I wanted to understand…”

Most of the rest of the session focuses on the Kristeva, and you realise as the professor walks through some of the nuances, explaining more of the context that she was building on, that you really didn’t get very much out of it your first time around reading it. Still, though the reading makes more sense now, it’s not super helpful for your idea regarding the prompt. You’re still not certain of what you want to do, but as the girls try to work out their difficulties with the reading, you’re listening intently, slowly putting together the pieces.

All the while, Charmaine’s hot body is pressed against yours, her dark hair soft under your hands, and though you’re tempted to try something, the presence off so many other pairs of eyes on you—and the fear of a drastic overreaction from Charmaine—keeps you from doing anything more.

Before long, the office hours are over, and it’s time for you to head to psychology.
