You are still chortling softly at that when you enter the staff room. One of the older teachers moves to stop you, but after brief mental command ends up pointing out Jennifer’s Mothers instead. She is seated at the far end of the staff room reading and drinking tea alone at a table. Your eyebrows go up in appreciation; you certainly don’t remember HER from your time here.

The top button suddenly burst free of the straining thread and bounced across the room landing 9 feet away on the tea and coffee table.
