Set up base camp

It was probably best to get some kind of shelter going, she was a smart girl and she knew if she wanted to survive, she needed food, shelter and water. Going further into the forest could be dangerous without some kind of weapon too, who knew what kind of animals may be roaming further in? It was too risky to take such a chance. She roamed the edge of the forest, picking up larger sticks, rocks... whatever seemed useful. After a few hours of collecting and stockpiling, she was pretty exhausted, but needed to at least make the shelter before resting, the massive sun looming over her all day beginning to set.

After another hour her tiny camp was complete, not great but it would have to do, and at least it included a fire, able to spark a flame using two of the rocks she found. She noticed that while she had been working all day, she didn't feel **** hunger or thirst... that was probably for the best, but still strange, normally she was pretty thirsty even just after gym class. Whatever this place was, it made little sense, and she was as close to solving it as when she first arrived. Settling in for the night, she watched the stars as she fell asleep. Though she fell asleep, the world still turned, and her small fire was bright enough to be seem for miles around, easy enough for anything to take notice and go check it out...

She awoke later to the breaking of twigs and leaves, getting closer quickly... whatever it was, it was nearly at the camp, and she only had a few seconds to figure out what to do.
