Separation

You hear screaming coming from down the hall, the newer bottoms flocking to you in fear and confusion. They are looking to you for guidance and protection; something you easily weld when you controlled the Nymph's Bane, but couldn't provide in this situation. Slowly, you encourage them to relax and simply wait for the soldiers. You remind them that they're here to take them home and, as long as they didn't fight, they wouldn't be hurt. They calm a little at your words, settling down in your living room as they get closer and closer.

The moment your door comes flying open, you fear that your group is going to panic again. They wiggle a bit in their seats, some getting to their feet, but relax again when you remind them they are safe.

Hearing that you speak English and are the assumed leader, the soldiers speak to you first. You give them all the details you feel they need. They inform you that all the children in the courtyard had been evacuated already and reuniting them with their parents will be the main priority once the compound has been cleared and you've been relocated somewhere safe.

You are all herded out of the room, silently passing the dead and dying guards on the floor. You catch a few willingly surrendering to the soldiers. More bottoms join your group as you wander down to the gates, Kai among them. He simply nods at you, an action you return. Both of you know that you won't be seeing each other again.

The lot of you are relocated to a nearby airfield. Within hours you are reunited with your children. They tearfully cling to you, babbling about how scared they were. You softly reassure them that they were safe and you wouldn't let anyone hurt them.

For the next three days, you are shuffled around constantly as they try to prove each of your identities. You huddle together with different bottoms every night, trying to piece together what little bit of information you can get. Apparently, some sort of conflict had broken out amongst the nations and it had been discovered that the less fertile countries had been involved in the **** plan. For the past three years, the world had been working to free the compounds across the world. You are one of the last, thanks to Mr. Yamamoto's money and influence.

Before you know it, you are put with a group of Americans. Each of you a given a vigorous medical evaluation and those of you not pregnant are given medicine to make sure that you won't get pregnant for your latest encounters. Afterwards, you are loaded onto a plan heading home. Years ago, this would have excited you. Now, all it gives you is an icy feeling in your stomach.
